Heather
Heather started at Sycamore Animal Hospital in February 2020. She has a strong passion for animals and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in animal science from Iowa State University. Heather enjoys learning new things and assisting where needed! She has three pets of her own, a corgi, Stetson, a Great Dane, Groot, and a cat, Claudia. In her free time, she trains and shows horses and spends time with her husband and young son.
Karen
Karen started at Sycamore Animal Hospital in the fall of 2020. She has a strong passion for animals and loves to learn new things every day! In her free time, Karen enjoys gardening, teaching a dance fitness class, and changing her hair color. She likes to spend time trying new things and spending time with friends and family. She has 2 Tibetan Mastiffs (Luna and Little) that she enjoys taking for walks every day.
Krystan
Krystan joined the Sycamore Animal Hospital in March of 2016. She has a degree in Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and previously worked with cattle before graduating and moving back to her hometown of Sycamore. Since she started, she has found her passion for surgery and dentistry and loves to meet new patients! In her free time, Krystan enjoys fishing and hanging out with her husband, friends, family, and her cats: Luke and Rey Catwalker.
Tammy
Tammy started with the Sycamore Animal Hospital in November of 2013. She worked at a large clinic in Chicago for 14 years prior to moving out to Sycamore and joining our practice. Tammy loves interacting with clients and their pets. She also has special interests in veterinary ultrasound and dentistry. Tammy enjoys cooking, gardening, long walks with her dog Cayla, and spending time with her husband and son.
Lindsay
Lindsay joined the SAH family in September 2011. She enjoys spending her days working with animals and assisting the doctors with examinations, surgeries, and X-rays. In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys baking and spending time with family/friends, along with her dogs, Josie, Ellie, and Milo.
Sam
Sam has been at the Sycamore Animal Hospital for over 16 years. She obviously loves her job! She assists the doctors with exams and in surgery. She performs lab tests, takes X-rays, and prepares medications. Sam enjoys getting to know all of the patients, along with their owners! When not at work, she spends time with family and friends, as well as with her dogs Maizie and Wyatt, and horses Miri and Ami.
Dr. Stephanie Hulben, DVM
Dr. Stephanie Hulben, DVM joined the Sycamore Animal Hospital family in August of 2020. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Dr. Hulben greatly enjoys surgery and dentistry! She has two cats, Tabitha and Ebony, and two St. Bernards, Cookie and Tony. In her off time, she enjoys spending time with her two sons, reading, gardening, and watching Netflix.
Dr. Linda Olson, DVM
Dr. Linda Olson, DVM has worked at the Sycamore Animal Hospital for the last several years, and she joined The Animal Doctor Medical Staff in August 2013. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. Dr. Olson has a daughter named Alex, two cats, Josephine and Wynona, and horse, Tink. When she is not working or spending time with her family, she enjoys horseback riding, reading, and traveling.
Dr. Lori W. Wyatt, DVM, CCRP, DABVP
Dr. Lori W. Wyatt, DVM, CCRP, DABVP, has practiced veterinary medicine for over 26 years after graduating from the Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990 as a member of the prestigious Phi Zeta Honor Society for male and female veterinarians. She moved to Illinois in 1991 after her small animal medicine and surgery internship at Purdue University. After 5 combined years of practice at the DuPage Animal Hospital in Villa Park and the Country Court Animal Hospital in Buffalo Grove, she founded The Animal Doctor hospital in Cary in 1996. Seeking to contribute to the career and/or retirement goals of other veterinarians who wished to sell the great practices that they owned, she acquired the Sycamore Animal Hospital in 2013 and the Animal Medical Center of Crystal Lake in 2015.
Dr. Wyatt enjoys soft-tissue surgery, is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon, and has always been delighted to teach while continually expanding her own expertise in veterinary medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys gourmet cooking, interior decorating, painting, music, bible study, singing with her church choir, and walking her dog, Kaleb. She also enjoys spending time with her husband (Karl), her daughter (Karla), and with her extended family in Kentucky, Ohio, and Maryland.
